Director of Digital Content Strategy

JoyRx, the mission delivery of Children's Cancer Association, aims to bring seriously ill kids Joy in moments of need as part of their healing journey. As Director of Digital Content Strategy, I led JoyRx to grow on a national scale and help deliver programming, brand messaging, marketing campaigns and content to audiences on digital platforms and channels.
In my tenure I was able to:
- Shift and migrate an outdated website onto a new digital channel for accessibility to audiences
- Grow a new YouTube channel upwards of ~3 MILLION impressions in first 3 months
- Garner a coveted space onto YouTube Kids app, earning an esteemed nod from Google and parent trust
- Experiment and explore new digital opportunities, streamlining successes for measurable growth
- Unravel unkempt data to establish baselines to ensure goals were realisticā¦and exceeded
- Implement new digital marketing tactics, including organic, paid and earned that also allowed one-click CTAs, a previously untapped competitive edge in today's market
- Create new brand storytelling on social channels of things audiences resonate with (from data) focusing on mission impact first and foremost
- Increase engagement metrics on social channels, upwards of +6K% above yearly avg (!!!!!)
- Implement targeted audiences and increase open rates of emails upwards of +85% (+142% avg)
- Lead content strategy and overhaul of new company website
- Partner with multiple musicians of all varieties to direct and create custom/original songs and content
